WWE referee Tim White dead at 68.

Tim White, a longtime WWE referee who died on this past Sunday, WWE announced. He was 68.

White was a professional for longer than 20 years in WWE started as a referee on a part-time basis in the year 1985.

He became a full-time employee within the firm in 1993.

He took part in many of the main events of WWE.

"Tim White brightened every room he walked into & the WWE locker room was especially lucky to have him," Dolph Ziggler tweeted.

White is an Rhode Island native, dealt with shoulder injuries throughout his playing career.

He continued to be a part of the company as an official at the backstage and as a talent agent until 2009.
