Shooting at Juneteenth music festival in Washington DC.

A shooting occurred close to Moechella which is an annual Juneteenth celebration located in Washington DC on Sunday.

A 15-year-old boy was killed when he was shot and three adults injured, police said.

Police officers are among the injured. The three injured are all stable, police confirmed.

The shooter fired gunfire after "Moechella," an annual event to celebrate Juneteenth.

Police Department Chief Robert J. Contee declared that the event had been declared "unpermitted," meaning the city was not able to grant an authorization.

There has been no arrests of suspects into custody to date.

The police haven't named any suspects or motives.
