Seven people were shot in five incidents in the night in Boston.

According to Boston EMS seven people were injured in the shootings that took place at Mattapan, Dorchester and Roxbury.

The shooting began just after 10:30 p.m. Sunday, with an attack in Mattapan on Woodbole Avenue in Mattapan

Boston EMS confirms the was one person taken to a hospital in the area at the scene.

Then, a short time later the shooting took place at Greenville Street in Roxbury where one person was transported into the hospital.

At around 11 p.m. Police were dispatched on St. James Street near Nubian Square, where an investigation was conducted to determine the scene.

Boston EMS said another person was admitted to a hospital following the shooting.

The shooting next occurred around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Dorchester Avenue and Bailey Street.

One victim was wounded during a shooting incident at around 2:20 a.m. on Elizabeth Street in Mattapan.
