Rachel Maddow reveals Merrick Garland memo.

Rachel Maddow shared Monday's Justice Department memo affirming a Trump-era order restricting investigations into candidates during an election year.

The memo titled "Election Year Sensitivities", signed by Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Former President Donald Trump will be charged by federal prosecutors in connection to the Capitol Riot.

Maddow stated that Garland's document, she did not believe, was made public.

It also cites an email from the former Attorney General William Barr.

"Department employees should also comply with the additional requirements issued February 5, 2020 by the Attorney General.

The Washington Examiner reached the Justice Department to request comment.
