ELON MUSK STILL ISN'T READY TO WRAP UP TWITTER DEAL.
More than 40 days have passed since Elon Musk announced that his $44 billion offer to purchase Twitter would be "temporarily on hold."
Musk stated the fact that "There are still a few unresolved matters" with regard to the deal currently in process which includes whether the shareholders of Twitter would be in agreement with it.
The comment came at that same day Twitter's board of directors unanimously suggested shareholders approve Musk's offer.
Musk's erratic behavior over the past few weeks has been a source of speculation that he's trying to avoid the contract.
Tesla CEO, who has frequently expressed concerns over. "A recession is inevitable at some point."
He also went into detail on his plans to cut the majority of Tesla's staff because of the "super-bad feeling" about the economy.
He continued to defend his decision to halt the Twitter deal by saying that the board hasn't disclosed the number of fake accounts that are on the platform.
