Copenhagen mall shooting

A man is wanted for murder is suspected of murdering three people and injuring a number of others in a shootout at a shopping center in Copenhagen.

A man was a target of psychiatrists, Danish police said on Monday.

The shooting unfolded on Sunday at multiple locations inside Field's, a shopping center in the Danish capital.

Social media videos showed people running around the mall with police officers heavily armed at the scene.

The head of the police Soren Thomassen told the police that two 17-year-old Danish citizens both male and female, as well as an old Russian were killed by the fire.

Two additional Danes as well as two Swedish nationals were shot in the injuries.

The suspect is expected to face charges of manslaughter. Chief of Police Soren Thomassen told reporters.
